We have spent all of our time since we came home from Wales renovating our home.

If you ever decide to renovate your home be prepared, it’s a huge undertaking that costs way more than you expected and takes way longer than you ever imagined.

We are still not finished and now some of the things that were finished are having to be either replaced or redone at no fault of the trades people. All of it is warranty work but still …

We are still waiting for one of our chairs. It will be worth the wait when it eventually gets here but I’m getting very anxious.

Our chair came and it’s just as beautiful as we had hoped! It’s also extremely comfortable!

I hope you all had wonderful holidays and did whatever makes you feel awesome!

We went up to Oregon for Christmas and spent the day with my daughter and all my grandchildren – adults now – and my 6 month old great-granddaughter! She’s a little treasure and as luck would have it I just happened to be there to help with her birth, 5 weeks early.

In a couple of weeks we are flying to Fuquay-Varina to visit Chris’s folks as we try to do every year.

In February we will be celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary in a hotel overlooking the beach in Cambria. I’ll post pictures and information from that trip. It’s only over night but that’s enough to know if it’s a place we’d recommend.
